Vintage 1977 Yamaha SG 2000 Electric Guitar with Original Case
The SG2000 is known for its lasting sustain, diverse harmonics, great tonal quality and sound clarity
Original cherry red finish, black pick guard with gold plated hardware
Finish has very little surface wear with a few small nicks (see the pictures)
Double cutaway body design for ease of playability, comfort and less weight
Original semi-open, anti-hum high output shielded humbucker pickups that are tri-mounted to allow for parallel adjustment
All pickups and electronics are all in working condition
22 fret ebony fretboard with mother of pearl split-wing fret-board position markers and original gold plated tuners with 15:1 ratio
3-piece laminated neck consists of two pieces of mahogany laminated to a maple center block
Neck through body design contains an innovative brass sustain plate connected to the tailpiece
Mahogany body with a maple top for good sustain, sound and tonal qualities
Straight neck with tight action and good intonation, plays and sounds great
New strings (Medium .010-.46) with professional set up
