Vintage Ateco Icing Set D with 12 Decorator Tips in Original Box. NR

This lot is a vintage Ateco Standard Ornamenting Syringe Set D. It comes in its original box with the original instruction booklet. The set likely dates from the 1920s or 1930s. The syringe is nickel-plated brass and the decorating tips (ornamenting tubes) are German silver. It contains the following 12 decorator tips: Nos 2, 4, 24, 27, 30, 47, 59, 61, 63, 67, 96, and 98. The syringe and tips are in lightly used condition and with a good cleaning are ready to use. The box is intact but is not in the best of condition. The cloth hinge for the lid is torn in the middle, the exterior is soiled, and the finish is deteriorating.
Also included are two modern plastic couplings, which allow one to use decorating tips with standard icing bags, and “Celebrate with Cake Mate” cake decorating instruction flyer.
Items come from a smoke-free, pet-free house.
