With an aged nickel finish, there is visually no way to tell that these studs weren’t on a 50s Jr. But sonically, these studs are far superior to their original counterparts. Manufactured with the same materials that the original 50s studs were made from, these TonePros Locking Studs take the tone further than it had ever gone before. TonePros has created the newer, long tail steel locking studs, which are really cool. Those are being used on the Gibson Custom Shop models. They're extra long in length, just like the original 1950s studs.
