Coin collecting is a great hobby!
While many sets of coins are too expensive for the beginning collector (many are too expensive for the advanced collector!), Kennedy half dollars are one of the least costly to start and complete.  So, if you are a new collector or know someone who is, Kennedy half dollars are ideal.  Not only are they inexpensive, they are truly beautiful when in very nice condition, as these coins are.
Kennedy half dollars were rushed into production shortly after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.  He was assassinated on November 22, 1963, and the first Kennedy half dollars were produced in 1964.
The early Kennedy halves contained varying amounts of silver from 1964 until 1970.  Beginning in 1971 all general circulation halves have been composed of a mixture of copper and nickel.  Some specialty issues, like proof coins, have been minted in silver but that is the realm of the advanced collector and are not a part of this offer.  This offer includes Kennedy halves minted in Philadelphia and Denver and with dates 1971 to date.  I also have Kennedy halves dated from 1964 through 1970 but these are made with varying degrees of silver which makes them too expensive for an economically inexpensive set like this.  If you need others, please let me know.
This set is a very nice collection for beginners.
It contains my choice of 25 different Kennedy halves of the 102 minted beginning in 1971 to 2020 and includes the special Bicentennial coins that carried two dates (1776 . 1976) [and a special design on the reverse for that year only] from both the Philadelphia and Denver mints, plus some of the ultra-low mintage coins minted after 2001 which were not minted for general circulation.
(Note for beginners:  some coins may have two of the same date but one will be minted in Philadelphia, the other in Denver; so there may not be 25 different dates, but there will be 25 different coins.)
Kennedy half dollars since that time have only been made available to the public through direct purchase from the US mint at a premium (higher cost than face value) and only in the year they were issued.  After their year of issue, they are no longer available from the mint but are available from dealers or other collectors.   Conditions of these coins range from very fine to several in brilliant uncirculated condition.  Your satisfaction is guaranteed.  Please read my customer comments plus other offerings for more advanced collectors.
The coins in the pictures may or not be the only ones you receive as this ad offers several sets.  Rest assured, however, that the coins you do receive will be in equally nice condition  -- never less than very fine and quite a few will be in brilliant uncirculated condition.
