Sai Pair 9"/19" Unique Custom Retractable Collapsible Martial Arts Ryukyu Jitte

Description

Traditional Asian melee weapon used for striking and blocking. It is most famously used in ninjutsu and kobujutsu, but also in southern Chinese martial arts.
This sai pair was custom order
from Asia
by my late husband in the 80's. I have not found any other collapsible and easy to conceal sais anywhere else in the last 30+ years, so you are looking at a very unique item.

The sais works perfectly: flick to extend and strike down to collapse.
Those are in very good condition despite its age and would made an excellent unique addition to any collection.
