    Description

Old Gibson Guitar knobs, set of 2, from a 1939 ES250, ex. fine cond. I took these off of the guitar myself, back in the mid 1980's....The top had been sanded so thin, I could not use the guitar and parted it out...a damn shame...These knobs are original issue, a very dark brown with the late 30's flat set screws Gibson used back then that are nickel plated...
No cracks, or issues of any kind....the heavier "Bakelite" type plastic always chips a bit where the setscrews come out, but this set are REALLY clean and in nice condition...Every part on the guitar...P/U, Bridge, Tailpiece, tuners, Pickguard, were ALL original to the guitar, and I am certain the knobs were too.
I have heard a few folks tried to do "reissues" of these knobs, but heard they were not actually close enough to the originals and have stopped making them...  ( I have never actually seen reissues of these )
THESE, I took off the c39 ES-250 myself, and KNOW where they came from......in ex. fine cond.....VERY rare....They would be correct for a few of Gibson's Lap Steels too, but these came off of the archtop.
