    Description

    This Honduras 20 Lempira banknote that features a portrait of Dionisio de Herrera was issued in 2014. The liberal politician was the country's head of state from 1824 to 1827. The national emblem is printed on the banknote's front-left. On the reverse side of the note is the old Presidential palace in Tegucigalpa. The note measures 159 x 66 mm in size and does not contain any security threads however a watermark shadow image with a numeric 20 pattern and BCH are added to the design to enhance its security features.
