Vehicle Fitment: For Ford Series Vehicles 2007-2021 that is equipped with Tire Pressure Sensor. This tool is used to train the TPMS sensors on new vehicles or after a tire rotation.
Instruction: Set the vehicle is in the TPMS Learn Mode, and follow the service procedure. Hold tool against the sidewall of the tire near the valve stem. Depress Learn button while holding the tool against the tire sidewall.
Note:
There is no battery in the package , all you need is to find a Fresh 9V battery ,and unplug it after using to Save battery .
In which situation can this tool Apply ?
Had new TPMS sensors installed ,letting air out or adding air to the tire couldn’t make the system recognize the new sensors
Do tire rotation ,did’t have an quick and easy way to let the ECU relearn the new tire information
Before tire pressure monitoring system works normally properly, the body control module will record ID information of each position in the tire pressure sensor; and use the following methods to read the tire pressure sensor after replacing a tire or wheel speed sensor. Refer to the specific methods as follows:
Specific Instruction reference:
1—Set the vehicle into TPMS re-learn mode. (Usually vehicle will horn twice)
2—Start from left-front tire, hold unit next to Valve and Press White Button, the horn beeps once.
3—Repeat to reset TPMS one by one: front-right, rear-right, rear-left tire.
Place the antenna of the device to a right position
Hold the antenna against the sidewall of the tire, near the valve stem to read sensor information, it won’t work if placed on an inappropriate position
