Excellent Cisco Terminal Access Server running on modern hardware, and IOS 15.7 in a convenient 1U form factor.
The router has permanent ipbasek9 license installed (see show version output below).
The unit is equipped with HWIC-16A, which has been professionally tested. All ports, console lines, and cables are fully operational. Supports up to 16 total asynchronous console connections.
You will receive (

) CAB-HD8-ASYNC cables with this router. There are 8 asynchronous connections per cable, allowing a total of 16 console connections. The cables are approximately 3 meters in length (about 10 feet). The increased cable length is a great advantage over the older asynchronous cables that are typically only 1 meter in length.
For those familiar with Cisco Terminal Access servers configured with NM-32A or NM-16A and CAB-OCTAL-ASYNC cables, this terminal access server works the same way. This is just the newer version of the module and cables.
Great addition for a home lab, or environment requiring many console connections. Reconfigure or troubleshoot your network remotely without having to move a console cable between devices. Startup-configuration is preloaded with commands necessary to use the HWIC-16A. These commands can be easily modified to fit the needs of your environment.
The router case has some scratches, scuffs, and sticker residue.
