Caution
When you use this AUTOOL SDT 206 Car Smoke Leak Detector for the first time, fill with 10ml oil . Please be careful NOT to beyond this range.
The testing liquid : both liquid paraffin and baby oil are OK.
Fresh oil can be filled with only when the smoke gets thin, and it can’t be filled over 20ml each time.
Before filling fresh oil, please pour out the left oil in the detector & replace the detector oil regularly.
During the process of leak detection, please keep away from smoke-sensitive parts.
Do NOT run the detector over 8 minutes continuously. It needs interval rest.
The detector has an intelligent protector, if it exceeds the working limit, such as over 75 ℃, it will automatically turn off the power. In this case, please operate it later.
The round part of this detector has temperature, please be careful to avoid burns.
Maintenance
With longtime high temperature, the smoke and oil will oxidize and deteriorate. It will infect the service life of smoke generated part, so please change smoke and oil regularly. 1.Before filling new oil, please pour out the remaining oil in the detector. 2.When the smoke output has water drops, please replace with new oil. 3.Liquid paraffin and baby oil are OK. How to do leak test
1.
Fill 20ml baby oil to the detector for the first time. Open the engine cover, and hang the detector in the cover.
2.
Disconnect the pipe that needs to be connected with detector.
3.
Connect detector with DC12V battery, turn on the power switch, and the detector starts to work.
4.
In about 30 seconds, the pipe will be filled with smoke. Check the leak points. Please use head lamp if necessary.

Description:

Quick Start Instruction:
1. Clean the inner wall of the intake opening while the Air Filter, and the Throttle connections are removed,so as not to scratch the adapter.
2. Close the Pressure Relief Valve(A) next to the Hand Pump(B).
3. Put the Rubber Component(C) into the intake opening.
4. Inflate the Rubeber Component(C) by pressing the Hand Punm(B) till the intake opening is tightli sealed.
5. Now the system is ready to test,introduce air/smoke into the system by plug the smoke nozzle into the Tube Opening(D).
6. After test,pull off the smoke nozzle,release the inflated air by open the Pressure Relief Valve(A) next to the Hand Pump(B).
7. Clean the adapter for storage,avoid contact with corrosive liquids.
