    Description

    Hi,
up for sale at least 10 pounds of live rock from a 15 year established reef aquariums. I has a mix of live rock of Fiji and Aragonite rock. Sizes of the rocks vary between 4" to 12" even bigger. You can build a very nice landscape with this rock. There's lots of pods in there. There might be some snails tuck in there too. Some rocks have some leather corals and sponges attached. Lots of life in these rocks and can jumpstart or compliment reef tanks I remove the rock from the 210g and put them on a 90 Gollan tank with no light to keep them clean from any algae and get them ready for shipping. When you purchase, I will select a variety of rock sizes that combined weigh around 10lbs.Please see Pictures these are the types of live rock you will be getting. Please take note that your rock order may be different size and shape than in the pictures shown. I will ship the rocks with wet newspaper and ship via USPS Priority Mail. Tracking numbers are always included, so please pay attention to package arrival times. This live rock are cured but some of the growth dies during shipping and it can puts off waste into your established reef. which helps cycle a new tank . I'll recommend using a 5 gallon bucket with a pump for circulation to cure the rock for a few weeks if you are planning to put them in established aquarium.
Benefits and Purpose of Live Rock in your Aquarium.
Live Rock serves many beneficial functions to the aquarium hobbyist, the most significant of which is its role as the biological filtration for your tank. Aquariums are closed systems, all food put into the aquarium for your fish and other inhabitants must also exit the aquarium somehow. Live Rock facilitates the means by which the food is broken down and exited out of the tank. Biological filtration is extremely important for the health and longevity of your aquarium inhabitants. You may ask how in the world does a rock do that, I’ve never seen them move, let alone clean my tank. The process of breaking down food from entry to exit takes several steps and is part of the nitrogen cycle that is always occurring inside your aquarium. The main goal is to try to replicate what you would find in nature, and having an adequate amount of Live Rock helps to achieve this very important goal.
